PAN, Aadhaar, UPI and GST details, one double-tap away on your Mac

Indian forms, invoices and chats ask for the same ID and bank details again and again. OnePaste keeps them on your Mac, masked, and ready to paste wherever you’re typing.

A client on WhatsApp Web writes: “Please share your PAN and bank details for the payment.” Ten minutes later, your CA asks for your GSTIN over email, a KYC form wants your Aadhaar number, and a friend splitting dinner asks for your UPI ID. Each time, you dig out a photo of a card, squint at a long string of characters, and type it carefully, hoping you didn’t swap two digits.

These details rarely change, but you share them constantly. OnePaste lets you save them once on your Mac and paste them exactly, in any app.

The details Indian forms and clients ask for

  • PAN, for invoices, TDS, KYC and onboarding forms
  • Aadhaar number, usually for KYC
  • UPI ID for quick payments
  • Bank details: account holder name, account number, IFSC, bank and branch
  • GSTIN for invoices and vendor registration
  • Full address with PIN code
  • Phone number with +91

OnePaste recognizes Indian formats, including PAN, Aadhaar, UPI IDs, IFSC codes and GST numbers, and gives each a fitting icon. PAN and Aadhaar numbers are masked automatically, so the overlay shows only the last four characters. Hold ⌥ to peek at the full number before you paste.

Save your bank details as a multi-field snippet. Most payment forms ask for the account number and IFSC in separate boxes, and you can paste each part on its own. Save your UPI ID once, and add aliases like “gpay” or “payment” so it turns up under whatever word you think of first.

Everyday workflows

Share your UPI ID on WhatsApp Web

  1. Click the message box.
  2. Double-tap ⌥ ⌥ and type upi.
  3. Press Return. Your UPI ID is pasted, and whatever you had copied before is back on your clipboard.

Fill bank details on a vendor or payroll form

  1. Click the account number field and double-tap ⌥ ⌥.
  2. Type bank and press → to open the snippet’s fields.
  3. Choose the account number and press Return. Then move to the IFSC box and repeat.

Searching ifsc finds that field directly, without opening the snippet first.

Add your GST number to an invoice

Double-tap ⌥ ⌥, type gst and press Return. If you’d rather copy it than paste it, press ⌘ C in the overlay instead. A GST number copy-paste from your own saved snippet means no mistyped characters on a tax document. The same goes for your Aadhaar number on a KYC form: copy or paste it straight from the library rather than reading it off a photo.

Built to keep sensitive numbers private

ID numbers deserve more care than a portfolio link. Here’s how OnePaste handles them:

  • Masked by default. PAN, Aadhaar and card numbers are masked automatically, showing only the last four characters. You can mark other items, like your account number, as sensitive too.
  • Kept out of clipboard history. When a sensitive item is copied, it’s marked so clipboard managers skip it, and it’s wiped from the clipboard after one minute.
  • Hidden from screen sharing. The overlay is excluded from screen sharing and recordings, so your saved list stays private during a Google Meet or Zoom call. The field you paste into is still visible on a shared screen, so paste with that in mind.
  • Stays on your Mac. Your library is a file on your Mac. No account, no cloud, no tracking. OnePaste never asks you to send these numbers anywhere, and it never sends them anywhere. OnePaste only goes online to read a page you ask it to import from, and to activate your license (then a short check about once a week). Your snippets never leave your Mac.

Frequently asked questions

Is it safe to save my PAN and Aadhaar numbers on my Mac?

In OnePaste they’re stored only in a file on your Mac, with no account or cloud. PAN and Aadhaar are masked automatically, skipped by clipboard managers, and wiped from the clipboard one minute after copying.

How do I copy my Aadhaar number quickly on a Mac?

Save it once in OnePaste. Then double-tap the Option key, type “aadhaar”, and press Return to paste it or ⌘C to copy it. Hold Option to see the full number before you paste.

How can I save my UPI ID for quick sharing?

Save it as a snippet in OnePaste. You can then paste it into WhatsApp Web, Gmail or any form with a double-tap of the Option key, a few letters, and Return.

Can I paste my account number and IFSC separately?

Yes. Save your bank details as a multi-field snippet, press → in the overlay to open it, and paste each field on its own. Searching “ifsc” finds that field directly.

Does OnePaste upload my details anywhere?

No. There’s no account, cloud or tracking. OnePaste only goes online to read a page you ask it to import from, and to activate your license (then a short check about once a week). Your snippets never leave your Mac.

Will my PAN show if I’m sharing my screen?

The OnePaste overlay is excluded from screen sharing and recordings. Anything you paste into a visible field will still be seen, as with any text on a shared screen.
